Being one of those
annoying efficient, overly organised females who multitasks to the point of insanity, I’m starting to get a little bit nervous about what lies ahead and am wondering how (or if) I’m going to survive the next 3 months.
It feels as though there are at least 20 million things that I need to get done before I leave, and just trying to get my head around all the short-term tasks yet to be organised seems to give me sweaty palms and stressgraines (like migraines – but much more dramatic).
However, when occasionally I do find the time to sit back and consider the bigger picture of what I’m about to embark on, I get this immense feeling of excitement and happiness and I feel like I just want to BURST with joy!
I love a good challenge and have been known by many to say that “planning the holiday is half (if not all) the fun of the holiday”, because it really is. So no matter how much whinging there may be, or how stressed I may look, please rest assured that I am, in fact, having the time of my life right now!
I look forward to sharing my adventures with you, and hopefully you will get some useful information out of this, in addition to the general entertainment of witnessing what may very well be the most
maddening exhilarating 20 weeks of my life.
