11 Best Quotes about Change & Travel

Hiii ?  and sorry I’ve been slack at posting lately!!

I’ve had quite a lot of change in my life lately. After deciding to quit my job and go freelance, start my own business and plan my next move abroad (more to come on that in a few months, hopefully! Hint: it’s not Australia), busy is a bit of an understatement of what life’s been like since April. In typical ‘look at me I’m trying to adult’ fashion, amongst all the busy-ness I’ve questioned myself at least 458 thousand times, not entirely sure if any of my decisions thus far have actually been the right ones.

I’m sure you’ve all been there too – moving countries isn’t exactly an easy decision to make. Like all good millennials, I’ve looked for (and found) reassurance in the magical world of the internet. As a result I’ve got some seriously inspiring and motivating quotes that I wanted to share with you all. Because, in the end, we’re all going through some serious change together.

I’ll leave these 11 brilliant quotes in your capable hands. I won’t explain why these particular ones struck me because hopefully some of them will resonate with you too, for all sorts of reasons. If they do (and I really hope I’m not the only one who loves a good quote), save them somewhere you can easily find for those times you need a little pep talk, some extra motivation, or just a reminder that whatever decision you’ve made is the right one! (spoiler alert: it always is)

Would love to hear your thoughts on these, or if you have any others that you have to share.

  1. Loved these! I especially like the one that says “we travel not to escape life…” because I think people have a misconception that all people who travel are looking to escape. That may certainly be true of some people, but not all!

    1. Completely. I found another nice one that has a kind of similar theme – “Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.” -Henry David Thoreau.
It’s a nice way to get over the holiday blues 🙂

  2. My colleague used to say ” you can come back from.anything, except bring dead”, so you might as well be adventurous!

  3. I love a good quote and I love your beautiful visual images too! Thanks for sharing this.. sometimes going through the chaos you feel like you’re the only one having a hard time.. it’s nice to know we’re all in this together! Good luck with everything! Keep believing and keep moving forward no matter what 🙂 xx
P.S have a buck load of fun too!! Life’s too short to take it seriously 😉
